What about my pets?
We love pets and treat them like our own. Any special instructions you provide are noted on your work order so our cleaning professionals know exactly how to care for your furry friends during service.
Who does My Clean Genius hire to clean my home?

Do I need to tip my cleaning technician?
Tipping is never expected, but always appreciated. Many clients tip after each visit or offer a larger tip around the holidays. You may leave cash (clearly marked as a tip) or add it to your credit card payment. 100% of tips go directly to your cleaning technician.
What if my cleaning falls on a holiday?
We observe:
New Year’s Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
If your service falls on one of these days, we’ll contact you to reschedule. For all other holidays, our team will arrive as scheduled unless you choose to cancel.
Will the initial cleaning take longer?
Yes. Your first cleaning often takes more time as we perform a detailed deep clean to bring your home up to our standard and get familiar with its unique needs.
Do I need to be home while my house is being cleaned?
No, but it’s your choice. Most Brooklyn clients aren’t home during service—they provide us with a key, alarm code, or lockbox access. All keys are securely coded and stored for your safety.
Will you send the same cleaning technician each time?
We make every effort to send the same technician for consistency, but schedules sometimes vary. Don’t worry—our staff keeps detailed notes on your preferences to ensure the same high-quality service every visit.
How do I pay for my cleaning service?
Payment is due at the time of service. We securely charge the credit card on file after your cleaning is completed.
